Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate at our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. This multifaceted role is at the heart of our warehouse logistics, managing both the inbound and outbound flow of goods. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and staging them for inventory. Conversely, you will prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation for dispatch. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Experience with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, is a significant advantage, though not always required. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations. This position demands physical capability, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of moderate to heavy items, and requires standing for extended periods. Strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
- Stage received items for put-away or inventory.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment safely (if applicable).
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Perform tasks involving substantial lifting.
- Wear and use all required PPE.
