Our San Antonio, Texas facility is looking for a motivated and reliable Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods using forklifts and pallet jacks, and organizing inventory. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of products from receiving to shipping, contributing significantly to our logistics success. Key responsibilities include operating various types of warehouse equipment, picking and packing orders, and performing regular equipment checks to ensure optimal performance and safety. A strong commitment to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is essential. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proven track record of reliable attendance. This role involves frequent lifting and requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to actively participate in maintaining this standard. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
