Join our vibrant logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Material Handler. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, staging, and transporting materials to support our daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stage materials for receiving, shipping, and production areas.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any malfunctions.
- Stack and organize materials appropriately to maximize space and accessibility.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory by ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE diligently, including safety vests and footwear.
- Follow procedures for manual handling and Lifting of materials, ensuring personal and team Safety.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, free from hazards.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and meet operational goals.
- Participate in training sessions on Safety, equipment operation, and logistics best practices.
We are seeking individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and have a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
