We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be crucial in preparing customer orders for shipment. You'll be responsible for accurately picking items from designated locations and then carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, speed, and efficiency. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain a smooth workflow and meet daily shipping targets. The ideal candidate is someone who can work well under pressure, maintain high accuracy rates, and is committed to providing excellent service. Experience with packaging materials and methods is a plus. You'll be an integral part of our logistics operation, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate packing equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Must be capable of continuous Lifting of boxes and items.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including gloves and eye protection.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of shipping and logistics processes is a plus.
