We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment. This role requires a proactive approach to tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery. You will be a key player in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely fulfillment of customer orders. Our logistics team relies on the efficiency and diligence of our associates to meet demands. Safety is paramount in our facility, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and properly use all required PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners.
- Stage products for outbound shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles and work areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Contribute to overall team performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment and scanning technology.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable wearing appropriate PPE throughout the shift.
