Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Transport items to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring the correct use of PPE.
- Inspect materials for any damage and report issues promptly.
- Support shipping and receiving teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Capable of performing consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with material handling equipment is beneficial.
- Strong emphasis on safety procedures.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Dependable and punctual.
