Job Summary Join our team as a Data and Business Intelligence Developer, where you will play an essential role in the development, maintenance, and integrity of our critical reporting databases. Your expertise in SQL and collaboration skills will ensure high-quality data governance and system integrity across the organization. Job Duties Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data utilized by the department to support informed decision-making.
Develop a robust framework for automating data processes that enhance efficiency across various platforms.
Prepare and optimize data for reporting and business intelligence systems for internal and external stakeholders.
Create and document clear policies and procedures that delineate technical and business criteria for data usage within the department.
Facilitate effective data management processes across functional units, including data collection, sharing, and utilization.
Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality standards in all database programs.
Ensure compliance of all database programs with company and performance requirements.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies to ensure our platform remains current and effective.
Perform data analysis, gap analysis, and root cause analysis while providing actionable recommendations based on your insights.
Job Qualifications Required Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science or a related field; alternatively, 4-5 years of experience in Data Development can substitute for a degree. Required Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL, database development, and BI analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), MS Azure, Datalake, and Databricks.
A minimum of 2 years of experience using SSIS and SSRS.
Familiarity with software development and application programming interfaces.
A strong ability to understand user requirements combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Education: A Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science or System Analysis. Preferred Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SQL and database development.
Experience in a Medicare environment is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Python is also highly valued.

Pay Range: $83,252 - $188,164 / ANNUAL *Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
