Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and equipment.
- Accurately stock materials in designated warehouse locations using inventory management systems.
- Retrieve and deliver materials to various departments as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely and efficiently (certification/training provided).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and record keeping.
- Ensure all materials are handled and stored according to **safety** guidelines.
- Properly use and maintain all required **PPE**.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, forklift operator, or in a warehouse/distribution environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely.
- Physical capacity for standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 70 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **logistics**, inventory control, and material flow.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to adhering to all **safety** protocols and **PPE** requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
