Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret picking orders from handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Locate and retrieve merchandise from various warehouse locations.
- Scan items accurately to confirm picks and update inventory systems.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and proper **PPE** usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards for picking and accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Report any stock inaccuracies or equipment issues to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail for error-free picking.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems.
- Ability to use RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Commitment to wearing required **PPE**.
- Understanding and adherence to all **safety** protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
