Join our thriving logistics operations as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will manage the intake of incoming shipments, verify contents, and ensure accurate inventory recording, while also coordinating the timely and correct dispatch of outgoing orders. A proactive approach and strong organizational skills are key to success in this position. Your contribution will directly impact our supply chain efficiency and customer fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify packing slips against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record inventory into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, palletizing, and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping and receiving regulations.
- Maintain a safe and organized dock area, ensuring proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficiency in using WMS and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with logistics best practices.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
