We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency are vital to ensuring timely and accurate shipments. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, requiring focus and the ability to follow specific instructions. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order lists or electronic pick tickets.
- Use scanning devices to verify product information and update inventory records.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain awareness of product locations and warehouse layout.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform basic inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves or consolidation.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying products.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting with varying conditions.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
