The role involves physical activity, including frequent lifting and moving of materials. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place incoming items into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick and fill orders from stock with speed and accuracy.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Keep a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintain required safety standards and use appropriate PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Contribute to the overall logistics and supply chain success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures in a logistics context.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
