We are seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Workers to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your efforts will directly support the efficient operation of our distribution center. We prioritize a safe and healthy workplace and require all employees to utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines meticulously. This position requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy.
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Follow all instructions and adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards to supervision.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as required.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain positive working relationships.
- Support overall logistics functions and assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.
