We are excited to hire Picker/Packer professionals for our busy distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. Your daily tasks will include using order sheets or scanners to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves, verifying the accuracy of picked items, and then carefully packing them into appropriate shipping containers. Efficiency and precision are paramount in this role to meet demanding production targets. Safety is a non-negotiable aspect of our operations; all team members are required to follow established safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. This position involves consistent physical effort, including frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs, standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent attention to detail, and work well independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities include: accurately picking items for customer orders, inspecting items for damage, packing items securely and efficiently for shipment, applying shipping labels correctly, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also be involved in receiving duties and inventory management as needed. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred, but we are keen to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute.
