Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Sacramento, California! This role is vital to our distribution network, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are essential. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of products. You will be a key player in our logistics chain, contributing to our ability to meet customer demands. We value teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical tasks, including regular lifting and movement throughout the day. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with high accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - training may be provided).
- Maintain inventory records and participate in cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE .
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Identify and report damaged goods or any discrepancies.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics .
- Follow all company policies and operational standards.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred. Must possess the ability to perform sustained physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be dependable and punctual. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Understanding the flow of goods and the importance of efficient logistics is key. Compliance with all safety regulations and PPE usage is mandatory.
