QA Layout Technician
The QA Layout Technician performs inspections and documents activities using a CMM, FARO Arm, and basic metrology tools to support Quality, Engineering and Production needs. The primary responsibilities of this position is to dimensionally inspect parts for First Article Inspection, Measurement System Analysis, and Capability Studies and related activities to meet customer Production Part Approval (PPAP) requirements. Hours Available (Monday thru Friday): 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm OR 2nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pm Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency or higher. Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training with Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA. Minimum of 5 years product or industry specific experience. Experience with Polyworks, Calypso, CMM Manager, and maybe PC-DMIS Fluent interpreting and using Blue Prints, Customer Specifications, and statistical techniques. Extensive Experience with ERP/MRP System and Processes PC literate and competent with Microsoft Outlook, Work, and Excel. Experienced at communication internal and external parties regarding complex and potentially volatile product related issues, while maintaining a professional and positive approach. Compensation: Starting wage: $33.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on shift. Plastech Corporation pays on a weekly basis. If you have any additional questions, please call or text 651-407-5700.
