Our Infrastructure team is recruiting for a full-time
Infrastructure Engineer
in Portland, Maine. This client-facing role delivers networking, security, and collaboration solutions. Engineers design, implement, and maintain technology solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses across the country, working hands-on with routing, switching, firewalls, and collaboration systems to keep our clients secure, and support business growth.
We are seeking a motivated IT professional with strong networking and firewall experience, eager to learn and deliver excellent client service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, decisive, effective at problem-solving, and works well both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities Be accountable for planning, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure solutions. Partner with clients, vendors, and internal teams to achieve excellent outcomes. Employ and improve Systems Engineering standard methodologies to deliver consistent and effective solutions. Share knowledge, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork. Act as a subject matter resource in one or more assigned technologies. Stay current with new technologies, continuously learning and building expertise. Participate in a 24x7 On-Call rotation. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record and be able to work outside normal business hours.* *This position requires travel and onsite engagement in New England and has an on-call rotation, schedule will be determined with Supervisor.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Two years of hands-on experience with Cisco routing/switching/wireless, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Unified Communications or equivalent. Possess current technical certifications from the following vendors strongly preferred: Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) and/or Fortinet (FCP or FCSS). Experience in researching, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and resolving issues on various networking and collaboration platforms. Knowledge of the OSI Model and other networking principles, with a broad understanding of security, including protection, detection, and incident response. Strong client service, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism. A collaborative team player, accountable to assigned projects and driven to meet customer needs. Effective critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to achieve business solutions. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Our Benefits & Culture

Our Pineland Farms Office is located at Durham Hall on the Pineland Farms Campus, New Gloucester, Maine. Our New Hampshire office is located in the vibrant city of Nashua.
