Job Summary: Position is for a QA Test Engineer based 100% onsite in Fremont, focusing on designing and developing advanced test suites and frameworks. The role requires executing test strategies to enhance code coverage and quality across platforms and programming languages. It's a pivotal role aimed at improving software reliability and efficiency through functional and automation testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced, object-oriented test suites. Implement and execute comprehensive test strategies to improve quality and test coverage. Write and maintain backend integration and RESTful APIs tests. Develop test frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate requirements into test cases. Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in both functional testing and automation. Experience in writing backend integration tests and testing RESTful APIs. Solid understanding and experience with Selenium and Python for test automation. Industry Experience:
Prior experience in Web/UI testing is crucial for this role, highlighting a strong foundation in testing principles and methodologies within a collaborative software development environment.
