About the Job
IT Internship- Industrial Tectonics Bearings:
Install, modify and make repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provide technical support and advice to system users.
Principal Responsibilities:
Identify and procure hardware and software with required approval. Image and configure computers for deployment to users. Install hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, printers & memory upgrades. Install, configure and update operating systems and software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS/400 client, Solidworks, etc. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network problems as needed. Provide telephone, in-person and online technical support to users for all IT related issues. Refers major problems to corporate IT support group for guidance. Process requests for new user accounts and additional access, ensuring that the necessary approvals have been provided, and that they are completed in a timely manner. Connects users to the network and provides initial training in use. Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in an IT related field. 3 years of applicable work history or any combination of education, work history or demonstration of capability. Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, peripherals and Windows accounts.

MIN: $25 to $25 per hour

The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting.
