Job Description

Warehouseman/Driver - Class C

Under direction, perform a variety of shipping/receiving, and stocking activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive and inspect all incoming material and reconciles with purchase orders. Process and distribute documentation with purchase orders. Report damages and discrepancies on orders received.

2. Pull orders and transfers and places them in their proper location so they can be checked and processed.

3. Pull orders for shipping via motor freight, UPS, or truck deliveries.

4. Tag and place stock items in their primary bins.

5. Operate forklift to load and unload trucks.

6. Help will-call customers load material onto their vehicles.

7. Receive material into the computer and call or get inbound freight charges online.

8. Confirm shipments on orders that have shipped or been delivered.

9. Monitor warehouse printer for pick tickets, purchase orders, and reports.

10. Perform instrument shop assemblies and conversions with fittings, gauges, seals, hoses

and actuated valves.

11. Delivery drivers are responsible for returning the signed packing slips.

12. May be assigned facility maintenance duties as needed (sweeping/dusting/ mopping).

13. Assist in counting of physical inventory.

14. Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

15. Delivery drivers are required to stock vendor shelving & consignment orders as directed.

16. Delivery drivers are required to pick up in town PO’s as needed.

17. Performs other duties as needed or requested.
