Responsibilities:
- Retrieve products from designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Verify order details against picked items.
- Pack products carefully, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the packing station and surrounding areas.
- Comply with all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Achieve established performance metrics for picking and packing.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and bending for long hours.
- Capability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional accuracy and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Understanding of logistics workflows is a plus.
