Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment to various destinations.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and system updates.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- Assist with shipping processes, including labeling and documentation.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a proven strong work ethic.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
