We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee all warehouse activities in our Nashville, Tennessee facility. This key role involves coordinating daily operations, managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of safety and organization within our logistics hub. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers for timely inbound and outbound shipments.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities and inventory movements.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is available and used by all staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or business is a plus.
- Experience with material handling and inventory control.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
