We are seeking dedicated and versatile individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will contribute to various aspects of our warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. Your flexibility and commitment to efficiency are key to ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics hub.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting. A strong understanding of and commitment to safety procedures, including the use of PPE, is essential. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks. Forklift certification is a plus and may be required for certain tasks.
