We are looking for skilled and reliable Forklift Operators to join our state-of-the-art distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and transporting goods. Your role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring a smooth and productive workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational efficiency and accuracy goals.
Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Forklift Operator experience. Valid forklift certification is required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures. Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
