Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices for accuracy.
- Document all received items in the inventory management system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Stage received materials for appropriate storage or distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve receiving issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a related warehouse role preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting and physical tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
