We are looking for an efficient Picker/Packer to join our logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio! In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will utilize scanning technology and pick lists to locate products, verify quantities, and ensure that the correct items are gathered. Proper packaging techniques will be employed to protect goods during transit. Safety is a core value in our warehouse; adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and may need to perform occasional lifting. We provide thorough training on our systems and processes. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product information, quantity, and condition.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory or equipment.
- Contribute to team efforts and achieve performance goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order details.
- Capacity for physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and the importance of PPE.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory handling.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
