Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order sheets or scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipping according to carrier and company standards.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and assist with material handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and warehouse guidelines, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Must be able to perform lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics concepts.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Safety Emphasis:
