We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Technician to join our busy facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all warehouse equipment and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the smooth, efficient, and **safety**-compliant operation of our **logistics** center. This includes performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, and assisting with equipment installations. We need individuals who are proactive, problem-solvers, and dedicated to minimizing downtime and maximizing operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery, including conveyor belts, sorting systems, forklifts, and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various pieces of warehouse equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to minimize operational impact.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
- Ensure adherence to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements during maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Be comfortable with **Lifting** and manipulating parts and equipment up to 70 lbs.
- Collaborate with operations management to identify potential equipment improvements and proactively address issues.
- Contribute to a culture of **safety** and operational excellence within the **logistics** department.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles.
