Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Grand Rapids, Michigan? We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall warehouse operations. This position requires a valid forklift certification and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You must be adept at navigating warehouse environments, performing regular equipment checks, and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move pallets, materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
- Follow all company safety regulations and warehouse procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting and physical demands associated with the role.
