We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our large-scale distribution center. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming goods, picking and packing orders with accuracy, and preparing them for shipment. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment is a top priority, and you will play an active role in upholding these standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, the ability to handle physical demands, and a commitment to teamwork and operational excellence within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with merchandise.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE .
- Support the overall Logistics and supply chain operations of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
