Our fast-paced distribution center in New York City, New York is looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our facility, handling a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse upkeep. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is paramount, and you will actively participate in upholding these standards. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
