In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the correct products are selected, verified, and prepared for the packing and shipping departments. This position requires focus, speed, and a commitment to quality. You'll be working with a variety of products and utilizing scanning technology to track inventory movement. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential. We value safety above all else and expect all employees to adhere strictly to our safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Read order forms and/or information received from customers to determine articles to be picked.
- Locate specified items within the warehouse using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Accurately pick items, verifying product codes and quantities.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient logistics operations.
