Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Safety and efficiency are paramount. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric, propane) safely and efficiently to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of loads.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and placed them in designated storage areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any issues.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Accurate and timely data entry related to material movements.
  • Adhere to all logistics and warehouse operational procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proven knowledge of material handling equipment and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some overtime as needed.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
