We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our San Antonio, Texas warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is foundational to our logistics operations, directly impacting order fulfillment speed and accuracy. You will use scanning equipment to navigate the warehouse and identify correct products, ensuring that each order is picked precisely. A strong focus on Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail is essential. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the team's success in meeting daily order volume targets. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, and Lifting. We prioritize a safe workplace, requiring the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order lists and scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order specifications for accuracy.
- Operate order picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, RF scanners) safely.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards for order picking.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting and physical movement.
- Support the broader logistics and distribution functions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred. Ability to interpret order information and follow instructions accurately. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform duties involving frequent walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong commitment to Safety and operational excellence.
