You'll utilize RF scanners and other warehouse equipment to locate and retrieve products efficiently. Ensuring order accuracy and contributing to the smooth flow of our logistics operations are key objectives. We maintain a strong commitment to safety, and all team members are required to follow strict safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE. This position involves considerable walking, standing, and requires the ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Retrieve items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet productivity standards for order picking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets accurately.
- Experience with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory procedures.
- Dedication to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
