Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of warehouse machinery and areas.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Support the operations team with technical expertise.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
- Provide assistance with material handling and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems common in warehouses.
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Experience with lifting and moving materials.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and record-keeping abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
