Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are looking for dedicated individuals to handle a variety of essential warehouse tasks supporting our dynamic logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We place a high priority on safety, and all employees are expected to strictly follow safety procedures and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to location.
- Pick and fill orders from stock with speed and accuracy.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
- Use equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks to move stock.
- Inspect products for defects or damage.
- Maintain inventory controls by identifying damaged goods.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labor role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety and procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is a plus.
- Willingness to comply with all safety rules and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
