Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to optimize stock accuracy. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining a secure and orderly warehouse environment. Experience with warehouse management systems is crucial.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system inventory and physical stock.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Manage the receiving and put-away process for accuracy.
  • Track and manage the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and adjustments.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting to access inventory.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform accurate counts and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of Safety procedures for warehouse environments.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting of inventory items.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
