We are hiring an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our busy logistics facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This critical role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous record-keeping, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution. You will work closely with warehouse teams to ensure that all stock is accounted for, properly stored, and efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
- Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Ensure proper organization and condition of inventory within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with receiving, put-away, and picking teams to maintain stock accuracy.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 30 lbs as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
