Join our innovative logistics team in Austin, Texas, as an Inventory Control Specialist. We are looking for a meticulous and proactive individual to manage and optimize our inventory. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of our stock data, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and implementing best practices for inventory management. You will conduct regular audits, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and identify obsolete or slow-moving items.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to maintain inventory integrity.
- Uphold strict adherence to Safety protocols and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 25 lbs periodically.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to high standards of Safety and operational excellence in logistics.
