Our Seattle, Washington warehouse is seeking diligent Order Pickers to join our fast-paced Logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our operation, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods. You will work with RF scanners and pick lists to locate and collect products, ensuring order accuracy and product integrity. A strong adherence to Safety protocols and efficient work practices is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to navigate the warehouse and identify items.
- Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items appropriately for the packing and shipping departments.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment to move items within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Meet established productivity standards for order picking accuracy and speed.
- Contribute to efficient Logistics by following all procedural instructions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and the importance of using PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
