Join our dynamic warehouse team in Washington, D.C. as a Warehouse Worker! We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to support our **logistics** operations. This role is vital for the efficient flow of goods within our facility, encompassing tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This position involves consistent physical activity, including **Lifting** and moving various items.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise.
- Pick orders based on pick lists or system-generated orders.
- Pack items carefully and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and load them onto transport vehicles.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (training provided for certified equipment).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation efforts.
- Support general warehouse **logistics** as directed by supervisors.
- Handle **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar **logistics** environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability to perform **Lifting** duties of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of and commitment to **Safety** regulations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear **PPE** as required.
