We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient warehouse organization. This position is key to our overall logistics success, as accurate inventory data is essential for order fulfillment and operational planning. You will utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and maintain precise records. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety standards, including the proper use of PPE. This role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items for replenishment or potential obsolescence.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout for efficient stock rotation and accessibility.
- Implement and adhere to inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of inventory management processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic math and data entry.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
