As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. Your efficiency and precision are critical to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time, playing a vital role in our logistics operations. You will utilize scanning devices and other technology to fulfill orders and prepare them for dispatch. We foster a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere where everyone contributes to our shared success. Safety is a top priority; therefore, you must strictly follow all established safety procedures and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting items, so you should be in good physical condition. - Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and utilize PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Communicate with team leads and supervisors regarding order status or issues.
- Must be comfortable with lifting items up to 45 lbs.
