In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking orders from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves using handheld scanners, accurately identifying products, and ensuring correct quantities are selected. Packaging items securely to prevent damage during transit is also a key duty. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and can work in a fast-paced environment. You will be a vital link in our logistics chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets and scanner information.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Conduct inventory checks as needed.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure all tasks are performed with a focus on Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanners and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and using required PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
