We are seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, store, and retrieve inventory. This role is critical to our daily logistics operations, ensuring that materials are handled correctly and efficiently throughout the facility. You will play a key part in maintaining a smooth workflow and contributing to our overall productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts before and after use, reporting any mechanical issues.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations within the warehouse premises.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear aisles and pathways.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Handle various types of materials with care and precision.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations as needed.
- Demonstrate understanding of safe lifting practices for manual tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in operating equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
