We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our vibrant warehouse team in Miami, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation of customer orders for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse and packaging them securely for transit. This role is critical to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the smooth running of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory shelves using order lists and scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately, using designated packaging materials and methods.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all required information is present.
- Perform quality control checks on packed orders before they are dispatched.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Support the logistics department by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role or general warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Commitment to safety procedures and responsible work habits.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet performance targets.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is an advantage.
