Join our fast-paced distribution center in Orlando, Florida, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, packaging them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic warehouse environment. We emphasize Safety above all else, requiring all employees to adhere to strict guidelines and wear the necessary PPE. This position requires consistent Lifting and physical activity. This is an excellent entry point into the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Verify order accuracy before and after picking/packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a standing and walking environment.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
