Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our operations in Boise, Idaho. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our logistics and supply chain success. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all inventory movements are tracked accurately and efficiently. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
  • Track and manage the movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status and control activities.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse management preferred.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may require moderate lifting.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
